Travel

Providence Academy offers opportunities for students to travel on school-sponsored trips and grow together as they learn from new locations and experiences they would not otherwise encounter.

WASHINGTON, D.C.

GRADES 6-8
Every three years, middle school students travel to Washington D.C. to explore Gettysburg and landmarks of our country’s history. Visits to the John Paul II Institute, The Shrine of Our Lady of America, and various museums are included. Students are also encouraged to fundraise for this trip throughout the year.

MARCH FOR LIFE

GRADES 9-12
High school students are eligible to participate in the annual March for Life. The group travels by bus to Washington, D.C. to partake in a peaceful demonstration bringing attention to the greatest human rights violation of our time: legalized abortion. The March for Life usually occurs on January 22, the anniversary of the Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision that legalized abortion throughout the United States.

ROME

GRADES 9-12
This trip is an opportunity for our students to explore both the historical and religious sites from the birthplace of classical education. Sites the students will visit include the Roman Ruins, the Colosseum, and St. Peter’s Basilica.
